Hey guys! so before i get into what this blog post is really about i just wanna implore you guys to help out Haiti in any way you can. They have been struck by another awful disaster, this time a category 4 Hurricane. Luckily, Jamaica was fortunate enough to have dodged this disaster but unfortunately Haiti took the hit. I really and seriouly want us to join hands not only to pray but to help donate food and supplies to the victims. So far there has been over 800 deaths as a result of the hurricane... 800!! If you are not aware of how to donate, you can message me on any of my social media pages or email me at bootlegrocstar@gmail.com and i will give you info and details. #OneLoveAlways

Now lets get into today's blog post :)

There are many ingredients that go into the recipe that cooks up a great bowl of CONFIDENCE. To achieve even the smallest goals, and to get through live's daily duties and responsibilities, you have to have some self-confidence. The importance of developing a self-confident attitude allows you to wade through the push and pull of different voices saying "yes , no, do this, do that, be like this", etc. Relying on other people to guide you and following their opinion robs you of your individuality and it makes you unsure of yourself and can lead you to depression. You must learn to do things ya own way daaahling *In my Rihanna voice*

There's something that i have that i whole-heartedly admire about myself, dubbed by my friends and me as "Rocstar confidence". What's "Rocstar confidence" you may ask? It's when you wear whatever because you feel like it and feel bomb as fuck in it. It's when you have an aura around you because you are self assured in who you are. It's when someone's a little scandalous at times, simply because they broke a social norm that many would be too afraid to defy.

Set aside your fears, shame, doubts...whatever that cripples your confidence, and start living the way you want with no apologies. We all could use some confidence. Whether with our outfits, bodies, love life, jobs, hair styles, ANYTHING. Some may say, quite credibly, that too much confidence can be a bad thing, but in a generation of youths who care so heavily on how others perceive them (myself sometimes) it's important to always be confident. I may not be the winner of the Mr. Perfect award and i am not always a 100% confident because there are some days when fear and doubts overcome me, but i started this blog for that very idea. To give people confidence and motivation on days when they might need it most.

In the end, its a lesson of confidence, self-reliance, sureness, that whether in small or large amounts, we must never be afraid to let loose and be our true authentic self, that will truly pave the way for what we really want to do and pave the way for some to make history, simply by having confidence.

Have a great week!
