*Rides in on low rider throwing up gang signs* haha! Hey Rocstars! lemme start off by saying Happy New Year!!!! Can you guys believe that it's 2016 already?!! Woaah! I hope you enjoyed your holidays and are now ready to roc the life out if 2016 cause I know I am. 2015 has been so good to me and i am grateful for all the blessings that it brought but i am super duper excited to see what 2016 has in store and already it has been off to a good start. I have soooo much dope stuff coming your way and to kick start it all is this bad ass shoot that I did a few days ago.

This shoot is a part of a collaboration series (which I will give you more info on soon and how you can become apart of it ) that I curated in order to work with young passionate local creatives like myself. First up......Alek and Wizzi Dread who with their creative efforts has helped me to kick start this collabortaive project and bring to you a California experience in the form of a series entitled "California Dreams". This is a series of looks/set ups that mirrors the vibe and style of California. Each set up/dream offers a differnt vibe and outfit geared towards giving you an amazing vicarious adventure to California so you know the Slayage is gonna be real! *uses dancing emoji* so with that said, let's get into the first dream shall we?

Creative Director and Stylist of the California Dream series Alek Mclean (@all.alek) manipulated spaces and locations to make it seem very Cali-esque while still keeping the edge of the 876 (Jamaica) which is also reflected in the styling. The outfit offers a laid back California street vibe with the pairing of short shorts, an open button up and aviator glasses and of course the low rider bike brought the whole California street vibe all togther. She also added a mesh merino and a necklace with a pendant made from wood which added a rootsy urban Jamaican flair to the look. Also, the subtle mixture of prints and textures offers some serious eye candy for the stylish eye. This look is the perfect mix of the these two chill locations: Jamaica and California.

With the serious snap skills of photograper Christina (@WizziDread), the shoot served major California Realness. She focused a lot on capturing the sunny blue skies and towering palm trees in the background thus creating an authentic Cali sky line view. It's hard to believe we were'nt actually in Cali, mission accomplished or nah? lol.

I have so much more in store for you guys from this series, so get out your ray-bans and put a tank top on because we have more California Dreams to experience ;) And oh! enjoy the BTS' (behind the scenes) photos below. xo!
