HEY ROCSTARS! With a busy weekend ahead, i wanted to give you guys a look at part 2 0f 5 from the #Braawta photography series i collaborated on before work and other school related stuff swallow me alive. I am beyond happy that you guys loved the last one that i posted to the blog. The comments and messages really made me and the photographer feel real good about this collaboration and i hope we deliver a good deal of slayage on the rest that are to come. So with that being said, lets get roc'ing with part 2 of the collab.

Is it me or is this outfit just everything and a bag a chips? I still cant get over how effortlessly minimal and subtle this look is, even with a full printed pants and a mesh merino which usually is'nt the the most subtle outfit you would think of, but somehow it works. You can bet your last dollar that i will be wearing this outfit again before the year finishes (with shoes this time of course lol).

I got this powder blue mesh merino/merina from my uncle who migrated years and years ago and left a bunch of them laying around unwanted until i discovered them. The pants are from Forever 21 Men which i had for a good while now waiting for the perfect event to where it to because it is such a statement piece and i wanted to make sure when i wore it i wore it right. Did'nt had it in mind for this shoot but somehow it worked its way in and i am pretty glad it made the cut.

With the creative direction of the shoot depending heavily on minimalism in terms of lines, textures and prints, i think this monochromatic outfit really gave a great deal of that. It added the concept of textures and prints which are staples when tring to achieve an afro-punk look. I decided not to wear any shoes or jewellery because i wanted it to look as raw and unmanifactured as possible which perfectly complimeted the whole deserted location/set up.

Happy Friday Rocstars and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

(Complete shoot of this look will soon be added to the "BootlegRocstar" GALLERY)
