Let me start off by saying that i am super duper excited to share with you the 1st of 5 looks from a photography series i collaborated on with this dope a$$ photographer (@wizzidread) which has been months in the making so it's basically like our little baby lol.

Wizzi Dread first reached out to me when she saw me on the February cover of Envy Fashion Magazine and expressed that she wanted a "male muse" with a little edge to shoot. We messaged back and forth about the creative direction she wanted for the shoot, we agreed and it was set in stone. Fast forward 6 months later, she finally hit me up about our shoot being apart of her photography series which she named "#BRAAWTA". Being the fashion junky that i am i packed 10 too many outfits and shoes lmao, but hey! that's what you get from a guy that calls himself a "camera whore". We shot it at this amazing location which is her little South African hideaway (i cant tell you where it is else we would have to kill you!) lol! so yeah we went there and the results of the shoot will slay your life!

The art direction sprung from her (the photographer) love for minimalism. She wanted to achieve simplicity in terms of lines, colours and forms. Her direction swayed her to harsh beautiful contrasting which led her to wanting the entire shoot to be shot using natural lighting. When that was all said and explained she passed on the creative baton to me to decide on the wardrobe. She wanted an afro-punk type vibe with rich colors and prints mixed with the 90's element of Dancehall to give it a little edge. The rest of the shoot will give you a greater representation of our ideas in terms of wardobe and photography but as i said before, it's part 1 of 5 so more is coming. She didnt call it #BRAAWTA for nothing!

Now to the outfit at hand. This outfit was heavily inspired by the rebellious side of me *flashes gang signs and grabs crotch* lol, and and i sprinkled a little Michael Jackson inspiration in it and put about 10 tea spoons of ROCSTAR sauce to add a little edge to finsih it all off (Only God knows why i have to be so dramatic with my analogies lol) The outfit offers a great deal of bad boy flavor but being that my body is made up of 30% glitter i had accessorize it to throw in some sparkle and shine.

I am so excited for you all to see the rest of the shoot but until then enjoy part 1 of the series!

(Complete photos of this look will be uploaded to the "BootlegRocstar" gallery)
